Detroit Lutheran Singers!  The 2017-2018 concert season of the Detroit Lutheran Singers begins on Sunday, October 22, with two concerts in the Detroit metro area. Intriguingly, the theme for this program chosen by Director Hall is “Divide and Conquer: Music of Unity.” This paradox will be explored through anthems by many different composers, including Gabrielli, Rutter and Trenney, in settings ranging from double choir, to brass and/or organ accompaniment, to a capella. Tickets are $15 general admission, $10 seniors and students over 12. New this year is the availability of season tickets. For $60 you will receive six tickets to be used at any concert during the 2017-2018 season. Tickets will also be available at the door, but may be purchased in advance online at www.detroitlutheransingers.com. Sun. October 22 at 3:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Plymouth (45201 N. Territorial, Plymouth); 7:00 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church (202 East Fifth Street, Royal Oak).
